Reset your WordPress password

If you find yourself locked out of your WordPress website you can request a password reset link and create a new password for yourself. 

WordPress passwords are encrypted and we are unable to tell you what they are. 

To reset your password visit your admin url by adding /wp-admin on to your domain name ie www.blahblahblah.com/wp-admin

Click the [Lost your password] link at the bottom of the page.

Enter your username of password and click [Get New Password]

You will shortly receive an email with a password reset link in it, click the link and you will be taken back to your website.

Enter a new password (WordPress will suggest one) and click [Reset Password]

You will now return to the login screen and should be able to log in with the new details.
