Running WordPress on your computer (Flywheel)

Type localbyflywheel.com into the address bar on your browser and click download

Select your operating system

You will need to enter your details

The download should then start automatically, once completed open and install the downloaded file

Choose the install location 

You'll get an error reporting option come up, it is up to you whether you use it

If you click on 'Learn More' it will open the localbyflywheel.com website in your browser where you can find additional information about Flywheel

Close the pop up window to continue then click on '+ Create A New Site'

Give your site a name, click continue then enter your username, password and email address

If you get any pop up messages asking if you want this to make changes to your device, say yes

Once the download is complete you will see this page, click on 'View Site' to open your WordPress site locally

 You now have a local copy of WordPress. Please note this is not accessible on the internet only on your computer.
