Changing themes

Changing themes in WordPress allows you to completely change the look of your site. To change a theme from the dashboard navigate to [Appearance] and [Themes]

Installed Themes

If the theme is already installed over the new theme and click [Activate], this will change the currently active theme.

Installing Themes

To add a new theme click [Add New]

Installing from the catalogue

If you want to install a theme from the WordPress catalogue use the search and filters to find one you like the look of then hover over it and click [Install]

Once installed click [Activate]

Uploading a theme from your computer

If you have purchased a theme you are likely to have a zip file containing all the necessary theme files, to add this to your site click [Upload Theme] then [Choose File]

Find the file on your computer then click [Open]

Then click [Install Now]

Once installed click [Activate]
